He is Emeritus Professor at Regent College, Vancouver, a Franciscan Tertiary and a Companion of the Northumbria Community in Brisbane. Mary Dickau has been on the pastoral leadership team of Grandview Calvary Baptist Church, Vancouver, for 25 years. She is a spiritual director and hosts a city retreat called Stillpointe, facilitating weekly rhythms of prayer and times of healing prayer.

He is Professor Emeritus, Missions and Evangelism at Regent College, Vancouver , and is the author os a number of books including Hear the Heart Beat with Henri Nouwen (2006) and Hear the Ancient Wisdom (2013), both published by SPCK. Mary Dickau is a community/spiritual care coordinator in Vancouver.
