Nick Papadopulos was a barrister before his ordination - he was then Curate of Portsea, Chaplain to Bishop David Stancliffe, and has been Vicar of St Peter's Eaton Square since 2007.

Common Worship is ten years old. In this volume, Nicholas Papadopulos gathers contributions from distinguished liturgical practitioners to assess its development and reflect upon its usage in this first decade. In a series of penetrating and thought-provoking essays, ten authors consider Common Worship's emergence from earlier liturgical revisions. They examine its provisions for the Eucharist, baptism and ordination, as well as for the Service of the Word. Common Worship as appraised by this ‘ten years on’ book, is definitely not an end, and is more appropriately seen as a beginning, and in some respects as even a cul-de-sac. We shall await further developments; which incidentally is good or bad news for liturgical text publishers...  
The value of the essays in this collection varies. Some seem highly optimistic, especially with regard to a ‘Service of the Word’ where identifying what remains Anglican in such a liturgy, becomes extremely difficult. The most penetrating and stimulating contributions come for Angela Tilby – ‘Whatever happened to original sin?’ and the Archbishop of Canterbury whose introduction could have been taken up throughout the book.
