This writer needs to read The Bible again, especially Genesis which fizzle out as a damp squid at the end, but God created and made a promise and the Doom mongering military domination of other people rages through Kidner's text. It is a Judah rendering of competition, typical of USA today and ancient Norman Gallic English folly. Servitude. Slavery was abolished do they not realise, God had no intention in Jacob and his mother cheating and lies to steal Esau's inheritance, but history is filled with such rot as we can see today in the wars of Iraq terrorists Palestine Hamas destruction of the peace in Syria by invasion although God appointed Syria Assyria to judge Israel for its crimes. We are not servants of Joseph and Moses. This book is a Zionist attempt to stir trouble, not a Commentary on Genesis, it is the author's personal convenient domination interpretation, politics, Winston, holy? Roman empire 1939.
