In a follow on from her book Glimpses of Heaven Trudy Harris ( a former Hospice Nurse) shares more stories of the final days and moments of terminally ill and dying people. Some of the stories are those shared with her from other medical and hospice professionals. It is interesting to observe the happenings from the viewpoint of those involved in the patient’s professional care. Their stories also highlight how essential they can be in the way of spiritual solace. This point was particularly reinforced to me with the interaction between Cookie Schnier and her patient in the story entitled simply Mr. Winter.
