Jan Johnson is the author of over twenty books and more than a thousand magazine articles and Bible studies. A speaker, teacher, and spiritual director, she writes primarily about spiritual formation, social justice, and living with purposeful intentionality. Her books include Meeting God in Scripture, Abundant Simplicity, Hearing God Through the Year (editor), Enjoying the Presence of God, and Spiritual Disciplines Companion.  
Jan holds a DMin in Ignatian spirituality and spiritual direction from the Graduate Theological Foundation and lives with her husband in Simi Valley, California.

Just a short guide for 6 sessions and slightly different to the normal guides. Its about finding the right time ...praying and waiting for God to speak, through hìs Word ( or other means). The " Now or Later' section is very useful. It's about obedience and learning to Trust God.

The Group found the first session challenging, not helped by some opaque questions. Needed to be more rooted in everyday reality. Hopefully we will find the next sessions more stimulating.
