__Mark W. Elliott__ (PhD, University of Cambridge) is professor of biblical and historical theology at the University of the Highlands and Islands and is a professorial fellow at Wycliffe College in Toronto, Ontario. He is the author or coauthor of several books. He previously taught at the University of Glasgow and at the University of St. Andrews, where he directed the Institute for Bible, Theology, and Hermeneutics.
