Revd Dr. Angela Shier-Jones is a presbyter in the Methodist Church and is a member of the Connexional 'Fresh Ways' team which is mandated to support and encourage fresh expressions of Church throughout the British Methodist Church. Her most recent publications include the edited volume The Making of Ministry and (with Luke Curran) Methodist Present Potential.

Shier-Jones offers a theological and practical guide for  
pioneer ministers (both ordained and lay) and mission minded  
congregations on how to initiate and support fresh  
expressions of Church. Drawing on Scripture as well as real life  
case studies, she illustrates best practice – and highlights  
the possible dangers – in working to transform a God-given  
vision for mission into a reality.

Former Professor of Mathematical Physics at Cambridge University, he is a priest and Canon Theologian of Liverpool Cathedral. He won the Templeton Prize for Science and Religion in 2002, and is the author of many books, including Quantum Physics and Theology, his autobiography, From Physicist to Priest, and Theology in the Context of Science, all published by SPCK. Thomas J Oord is Professor of Theology and Philosophy at Northwest Nazerene University, and author of several books.

John Polkinghorne is probably one of science’s most pre-eminent and coherent theologians and theology’s most pre-eminent and coherent scientist – a ‘vegetarian butcher’ as Oord puts it.
